Cha Ching is a sales dashboard. It needs your sales data to be a sales dashboard, and it needs your email address to let you back in. That is genuinely the whole list.
Who is responsible for your data
Cha Ching is operated by nanakwandesign, based in England and Wales. For anything in this policy — including a request to see or delete your data — write to hello@chaching.studio.
What we collect
Your account. Email address, a securely hashed password, and the name and shop name you enter during setup.
Your shop data. The orders, products, marketplaces and customer records you add or import — whatever you choose to connect. This is your business data; we treat it as yours.
Your settings. Monthly goal, sound preference, theme.
Payment records. If you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment. Stripe tells us which plan you are on and when it renews. Your card number never touches our servers and we never see it.
Waitlist. If you enter your email on the marketing page, we store that address so we can tell you when things launch. Nothing else.
What we don't do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertisers. We don’t run third-party advertising or tracking pixels on the app. We don’t read your sales data to build a product for someone else.
Who processes it for us
Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (hosted in the EU). Vercel — hosting and delivery of the site itself. Stripe — payments, if you subscribe. Each is a processor acting on our instructions, under their own security commitments.
Legal basis and how long we keep it
We process your account and shop data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract), and payment records because we are legally required to keep them.
Your data lives as long as your account does. Delete your account and we delete your shop data — products, orders, customers, settings — within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@chaching.studio and we’ll action it within 30 days. If you think we’ve got it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Cha Ching sets one kind of cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no analytics or advertising cookie, which is why there is no cookie banner.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we’ll email you before it takes effect. See also our terms of service.
